About us and how we check data

Australian Home Kits is an independent directory of Australian kit, modular and transportable homes and granny flats. It is run by Loulou Motta. It exists to help you compare prices like for like: what stage a price covers, what is included, and whether the builder delivers to your state.

Where the data comes from

• Every fact comes from a builder's own public website, or from information the builder sends us.
• Each listing links to its sources and shows the date we last checked it. We currently list 66 builders; the latest check was on 29 October 2026.
• Some facts were first found in a search result. Those are marked "From a search result, not yet confirmed on the builder's site" until we confirm them.

What we never do

• We never invent, estimate or round data. If a builder does not publish something, we show "Not published".
• We never put prices at different build stages side by side as if they were the same.
• We never publish reviews, ratings or testimonials, and we never copy builders' text or photos.
• Builders cannot pay to change their facts. If we ever offer featured placement, it will be clearly labelled and will only change position, never data.

Corrections

Builders can claim their listing or send a correction at any time. Anyone else can contact us. We update facts only from published or confirmed information, and change the "last checked" date when we do.
